Support TBESOC

Temple Beth El has evolved as the primary center for Progressive Judaism in South Orange County. Although membership dues, facilities fund, and school fees cover some of the funding for our staff salaries, our utilities, and general maintenance, we rely on fundraising to generate the difference. Regardless of the method, giving to Temple Beth El is a great way to insure that generations to come will have a center for both Reform and Conservative Judaism in South Orange County. Donation

Donations can be made with or without an acknowledgment sent to your choice of recipient in their honor, on an occasion, or in memory of a loved one. These charitable contributions can be made to a number of restricted purposes, or they can be made to support the "General Fund" which maintains our ability to operate (such as clergy, staff, security, building/grounds maintenance, utilities, and all of the foundation of our ability to sustain this beloved Jewish community. All donations are tax deductible and our Tax ID # is 95-3749325.

Tribute

Tribute Funds make it possible to support a number of special programs in the Temple and community, while providing means for individuals to honor or remember their loved ones. Tribute Funds are listed in the dropdown menu under "Type" here.

Simcha Tree

A Simcha Tree of Life is blooming at Temple Beth El of South Orange County. Gold leaves and stones can be inscribed to celebrate a special simcha in your family’s life. Leaves are $180 each And Stones $720 each. Click to order one on the Simcha Tree Donation Form.

Yahrzeit Remembrance Memorial Wall

For Temple members who want to remember a loved on the date of their yahrzeit, a plaque on our Memorial Wall is available for purchase. A light will be lit on the Friday preceding the anniversary of your loved one’s death and kept lit for the following week. Click to order on the Yahrzeit Remembrance Plaque Order Form.

Sponsor Shabbat
